I had been living in Austin as a musician for the last ten years or so. When the economy took a nosedive, I was laid off from my day job and despite popular belief, the market there is really over saturated, so I moved here to San Angelo. So far, I am getting readjusted to life in the boonies and its lack of activity.

I want to become an Orchestra teacher, but I have not mustered the gusto to launch myself into debt over it... it will happen soon though

I am hoping that I can meet some new friends that aren't morons, and perhaps even a date or two.

I am a 56 year old widower. I hate being alone, and I refuse to act my age. I love to read, travel, play with my grandson, and am a certified gun nut. Why do we have to expand our profiles to 1,000 words just to satisfy a profile completion requirement? I don't understand. I think we should be able to choose how we complete our profiles, whether it's doing one thing repetitively or doing a bunch of different things like OkCupid has us doing now. I also think we should be able to choose how long or short we want our profiles. But that's just me. I'm here, in San Angelo yet again. I've had a profile, deleted a profile, started a new profile. I go through phases when I don't want to talk to anyone and then there are days when I say "hi" to total strangers.

May not be a big deal for most people, but I don't always talk to people I do know, hardly ever talk to people I don't.

This part is way harder than it should be. Every time I look at it, I want to change it. I can never really decide what I want/need to include, and how it should be displayed. I firmly believe first impressions suck (and I suck at them). You are thus warned.

I'm a gamer. Yeah, who isn't, right? I don't try to pretend to be some hardcore unbeatable player, it's just what I choose to do with my free time. Some people spend a great deal of the recreational time reading or watching tv, other out partying and so forth; I game. Video games, obviously, for the most part, but I get in a D&D (or other tabletop RP) when and where I can. I'm a sucker for board games too with the right company.

At the moment, I'm not in school, but I fully intend to start taking classes again when I get into the Air Force. Haven't quite decided as to what, but possibly creative writing and/or jounalism, assuming my tech school and job will take care of my career. I really miss learning in that kind of environment(what there was to be had in these schools, anyway).

Graduated with a teaching degree but I guess you can say I followed the money. It's a pretty easy life. Just looking for someone who can make me laugh. I think having fun and laughter are the most important things in any relationship. I'm 26, graduated from TTU a couple years back. I now live just outside of Abilene, TX but I never seem to be there. The site I run is south of Abilene and I tend to sleep more on the couch in my office than in my bed at the house.

I am 18 years old, I love to hang out with friends and people that I know. I like spending free time on the computer or relaxing. I can be a pretty big computer nerd when the mood strikes me lol. But yeah...been pretty bored lately so I am pretty much willing to do ANYTHING to pass the time right about now lol.

I'm usually up for anything, anytime...not too difficult to please. I love traveling when I'm able, especially if it involves any kind of outdoor activity. I'm a competitive bodybuilder, so that pretty much defines my life. I'll be up front and say that the bodybuilding lifestyle is not an easy one to deal with...about 1/3 to 1/2 the year I'm contest prepping (lots of cardio and zero carbs!). I'm not all muscle and weights, though...I'm pretty soft & squishy underneath. Music is my other great love...if I had any musical ability, I would have been a rock star, but I've settled for living that dream through the artists I admire.

Im pretty much a complicated wreck and seem to even suprise myself some days.I've recently come to the conclusion that San Angelo really is home, and what fun is life if you dont have someone to share it with? I love photography and being creative. I have a fear of odd numbers. I wear flipflops year round.Im super clumsy if theres a wall i will run into it. I have a laugh at everything policy.. its more fun that wayy. I'm a TECH FAN through and through and believe that mike Leach is the worlds smartest man! if i would of lived in an earlier time I would of married Bing Crosby, but now i will just settle for john mayer. I have a huge thing for british accents, call me love and i will love you forever.I dont like skittles or cotton candy. I love anything spicy. I always drive with my windows rolled down and the music too loud. I like to think that im bold and unique. Creative and wise. I will one day write a book soo i can leave my mark on this world.... But untill then the stories and the memories that are told will have to be enough.

I'm Georgia, alot of my friends call me George, i'm 21 years old. i was born and raised in houston, and most of my family still live there. I'm currently going to Angelo State and majoring in physics, but i'm starting to rethink it. I love to travel, but i've only been out of the country once. I want to eventually study abroad and maybe even teach abroad. i'm not really the kind of person who goes to clubs(especially not grahams), i like to just watch movies or hang out with friends, or the ultimate combination go to screeners(campus film club).

I'm a dreamer and a romantic. I'm always working towards a goal and the future instead of living in the present. I want to find someone that can be my best friend and help me enjoy life while working towards common interests and golas. Someone that I can talk to for hours on end or just sit and enjoy each others company. Contrary to what most people that know me think I actually enjoy talking, I just don't always have an opinion on every subject. I love movies and music. I think there should be romance in a relationship and sometimes have an idealized version of relationships because of movies. But I do think everyone should try to have a little romance in their lives, otherwise what's the point. I don't ever want to be in a relationship that feels like a business partnership instead of having romance. I don't really follow sports (though I do watch the cowboys when I can), but love to go watch a live game or concert. People watching is half the fun.

I'm a pretty open person when asked, but don't always volunteer information. Sometimes I'm brutally honest, but I know when to bite my tounge. I think honesty is the key to any relationship be it friends or something else.

I'm easily amused and can pretty much enjoy myself in most situations. It's more about the company and the shared experiences then anything else. I love to learn about other people and their life experiences.
