San Angelo Texas Food

I went to a college football game here in Texas and there was no shortage of questions about when football turns up. This city is perhaps best known for Fort Oakes, the oldest military fort in the United States. It was founded in 1867 as a protected border settlement and was located along the green corridor of the city. The last soldiers left in 1889, but there are many other examples of the legacy of the fort in San Antonio and the rest of Texas.

From the Dallas / Fort Worth area, take Interstate 20 to Abilene and then Interstate 35 to San Antonio. This route is much faster and slower, but from San Austin it is probably the best way, and it goes through the Texas Panhandle.
